I am a huge fan of the movie "Shirley Valentine". From your web site I noticed that you have travel around Greece, I was wondering do you know the location where the movie was shot? I'd like to go there and have a Shirley Valentine moment.

Answer:

The Island that the movie was shot on is Mykonos, it's part of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. The town scenes were taken around the harbor in Mykonos Town. You may find that there are many hotels trying to claim to be the location for the movie, (they're on the same beach) the actual hotel that used was is "Manoulas Beach Hotel", which is located on Agios Ioannis beach, 5km from Myconos town.
