PHOTOGRAPHER'S WEBSITES
The photographers listed
here range from amateurs to some of the top-selling photographers in the
world. One thing that they have in common is that they all produce some of
the finest artistic, creative and stunning photography that you've ever
seen. Another common factor is that I know all of these
photographers - some are close person friends while some I have only
met through the internet, e-mails and phone
calls. | |
| |
Michael Orton If you have ever heard of the ORTON technique, well Michael is the person that it is named after. He came up with the idea sometime in the 1980's. While I've haven't met Michael in person yet, we've shared many phone calls and emails, even Christmas cards. Like so many of the other photographers on this list he is also more than willing to share his knowledge and experience with other photographers. He is the author of "Photographing Creative Landscapes" Impressionistic imagery - painting with a camera and film. Be sure to watch the slideshows which feature his most recent work....it is beyond description!!!
Tony Sweet Nature/Outdoor "Visual Artistry" Workshops. I met Tony in Windsor at WIPS where we were both the keynote speakers. He's a wonderful photographer and a equally great person.
Dale
Wilson I met Dale in the
mid 1990's on a trip to Nova Scotia, I instantly bonded with him and
anyone who has met him knows this feeling. We taught workshops
together in Prince Edward Island for a couple of years and have
talked about setting up some other east coast
workshops. Co-Author with Daryl Benson of "A Guide to
Photographing the Canadian Landscape" Author Keji: Rips and Riffles,
Another Newfoundland Scoff
Daryl
Benson I've known Daryl for more than 20
years, we both were signed to contracts with Masterfile as contributing
artists around the same time. Over the years we've become good friends, I
always look forward to his unique Christmas cards. (Stock photographer

Sherman Hines I have Sherman to thank for introducing me to the world of stock photography, his was the first workshop that I ever attended and during it he recommended that I should submit my images to a stock agency. When I took his workshop I was working as a purchasing agent for a scrap steel compnay, after the workshop I took his advice and embarked on a new career as a photographer.Contributing Masterfile photographer
